Here’s a glimpse inside a warehouse for online supermarket Ocado where hundreds of robots can be seen whizzing around picking groceries for customers. Ocado, an British online supermarket, has released footage from inside its newest automated warehouse in Andover, UK. The facility is fitted with automated robots that take crates of products to pick stations where picking robots or humans then assemble the orders for shipping. The robots also replace empty crates allowing the facility to process up to 65,000 orders every week. They are battery powered and can dock at a charging bay to top up.
